More than 3,000 businessmen, including 2,000 from 23 departments of the country and about 1,000 buyers from 50 countries, meet since Wednesday in Corferias to participate in the Bicentennial Macrorrueda, a powerful showcase for national products and services.
The event, which takes place between April 3 and 5, will gather a representative sample of products with high export potential that the agrifood, metal-mechanic and other industries, chemical and life sciences, industries, and industry fashion. The event will be attended by President Iván Duque and Vice President Marta Lucía Ramírez.

In the list of international buyers, several of the fashion system of the United States stand out, such as the Macy’s chain of stores, which will be in Colombia for the first time seeking production options and appointments with national leather goods entrepreneurs.
Also the prestigious e-commerce store Amazon, one of the largest e-commerce platforms in the world, participates in the meeting because its interest is to identify brands with experience in categories such as accessories and clothing. Also Royal Caribbean, one of the four main cruise lines that handle 70% of this industry, will come in search of towels, sheets, napkins, pillows.
Among the European companies, Mercadona stands out, the main chain of physical and online supermarkets in Spain based in Valencia; and from the Netherlands the company Kinti Café, which has focused on sustainable products and which recently allowed the Bochica coffee from the department of Nariño, to land in 180 supermarkets of the Jumbo group in the Netherlands.
